Rod Falby was born in New York City but moved to New Hampshire at the age of seven and has resided here ever since, with the exception of his education years and his stint in the U.S. Army in Germany. He was a captain in the U.S. Army Reserves at the time of his discharge.
A graduate of Middlebury College and the University of Chicago Law School, Rod was law clerk to the Chief Justice of the Oregon Supreme Court in 1966 and 1967. Before becoming a partner in this firm in 1971, he was an associate of the firm then known as Wiggin & Nourie in Manchester. He was a member of the New Hampshire Board of Bar Examiners from 1985 to 2002.
